No Limits is providing hybrid services for its families, safely welcoming students back into our Educational Centers, while continuing our groundbreaking remote programming for children with hearing loss.
Because the health and safety of our teachers, staff, children and families are our top priority, we have implemented the following policies based on the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health authorities, in order to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
Personal Hygiene and Safety Protocols
Our current safety requirements are as follows:
When you visit No Limits, your temperature will be taken with a touch-less wall face recognition scanner.
Sanitize your hands upon arrival.
Social distancing of 6 feet or more.
Wash or sanitize your hands after touching any high-touch surface with bare hands, such as door handles, water cooler buttons, bathroom locks, or communal workstations. If possible, cover your hand with something when touching high-touch surfaces.
Wear a face covering that covers your nose and mouth, at all times.
Faucets are touch-less in bathrooms.
Hand sanitizers and clear masks are provided in every room.
Study areas are cleaned after every session. Sessions are scheduled to avoid large crowds.
Every speech room has clear dividers between students and teachers.
Teachers are assigned a single room which they will use every time they come to the center.
Toys and games are cleaned after each use. Teachers will not share materials unless wiped down before and after each use.
Waivers and check off list of symptoms will be signed by teachers and parents every time they enter a center, with time and date for contact tracing.
Illness and Sick Leave
If you feel any signs of illness, you must stay home. Common symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
Close Contact with an Infected Person
If someone in your household or someone with whom you have had close contact (less than 6 feet) has been diagnosed with COVID-19, including a presumptive diagnosis, contact your Program Director immediately, before returning an Educational Center. Quarantine may be required and may or may not be covered by EPSL.
Personal Travel
Report all out-of-state travel to your Program Director before returning to the educational center. Quarantine periods may be required post-travel, depending on current government guidelines or company policy.
Safety Outside of the Educational Center
You are strongly encouraged to follow current CDC guidelines, including maintaining 6 feet of distance between yourself and anyone who does not live in your household and wearing cloth face coverings in public settings, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
We reserve the right to require you to quarantine before returning to the educational center if you engage in behaviors that we feel puts student, families, or staff at risk.
Questions
If you have questions about any of these policies, or how No Limits is dealing with other issues related to COVID-19, please feel free to contact your Program Director.
